The professional staff has conducted a high number of environmental projects for several industrial branches, standing out the pharmaceutical, metal-mechanic, mining, food and beverages, oil extraction, energy generation, etc.
The General Director of ESPECIALISTAS AMBIENTALES is Dr. José Antonio Ortega Rivero, who holds a Ph.D., in Environmental Engineering of the University of Oklahoma, EUA. Additionally, he is accredited before the Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (PROFEPA) (Federal Environmental Protection Attorney) as Coordinator Auditor. Until 1998, Dr. Ortega was founding partner and director in Mexico of Corporación RADIAN, S. A. de C. V., (RADIAN), subsidiary of the prestigious American Company specialized on air pollution control and hazardous waste management. Under Dr. Ortega's leadership, RADIAN executed more than 100 environmental audits to a similar number of facilities. Thus becoming the leading firm on this field in our country.
International experience of Dr. Ortega includes his performance as advisor to the Commission of Environmental Cooperation (CEC), on the areas of atmospheric monitoring, releases inventory, and ISO-14000. He is a founding member of the Academia de Auditores Ambientales (Environmental Auditors Academy) and the Environmental Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Ortega has been professor, researcher and advisor to the Universidad Iberoamericana, University of Texas, and the University of Oklahoma.
